Hardworks are completed at the Surrey Garden

Well a lot has happened since the last news update and quite a few projects have been added to the website this week. The most exciting news is the completion of the hard works for the Surrey House as shown in the attached photo. The swimming pool was smashed in (a nervous moment!) and filled with hard core, subsoil and topsoil ready for the parterre planting to happen later this month. The swimming pool building has had its roof removed and then raised, while the side has been removed to create a new outdoor dining area. The new paving has been laid for the terrace and the parterre beds have been marked out. We have even been to an architectural reclamation yard to find a few goodies for the garden, including a beautiful piece of wrought iron for the dinning area. The next stage is the planting so keep an eye out for the finished garden photos coming soon!
