Description: Garden Design
Date: December 2011
The concrete retaining wall of an old garden structure was creating a problem in an otherwise beautiful cottage garden. Taking it down would have removed a section of a listed stone wall, so instead the owners were looking for a discrete and attractive solution.
By using the surrounding context of the garden, and its location in the Cotswolds as inspiration, a small garden store has been created to cover the wall and provide some much needed outside storage space.
A planting plan for the rest of the garden is being prepared by Beccle Design for installation later this year.
